Reactive Substrate Theory (RST

🌌 Reactive Substrate Theory (RST)

Reactive Substrate Theory (RST) is my attempt to unify physics by treating space itself as a continuous reactive medium. Instead of point particles and empty vacuum, reality emerges from a single substrate field. Matter is not made of points but of stable solitons — knots (vortices) or localized patterns in the substrate that hold together through nonlinear dynamics. These solitons are what we experience as electrons, protons, and other particles. Energy is the motion and tension of the substrate itself: waves, oscillations, and stored stress. Both are unified expressions of the same medium.

🔀 Wave–Particle Duality

Wave–particle duality in RST is no paradox. Waves are extended tension modes, particles are localized soliton modes. A soliton is a self‑trapped wave packet, while a free wave is tension propagating without localization. Measurement redistributes substrate tension, forcing collapse into a localized state. Both behaviors emerge naturally from the same field equation.

🌍 Gravity vs. Magnetism

Gravity in RST is not a quantum particle (no graviton) and not “attraction.” It is a pressure gradient in the substrate field — matter sinks into lower‑tension regions, and the surrounding field pushes inward, like buoyancy. Magnetism, by contrast, is a shear effect: substrate tension twisting sideways, producing polarity and field lines. Gravity has no polarity, no cancellation, and acts isotropically; magnetism is directional, charge‑dependent, and can be shielded.

📐 The Two Core Equations

Baseline Wave Dynamics
(1/c²) ∂²Σ/∂t² − ∇²Σ = λΣ³ → matter as stable solitons (knots in the substrate field)

Emergent Reality + Feedback
(∂²S/∂t² − c²∇²S + βS³) = σ(x,t) ⋅ Fᴿ(C[Ψ]) → structured reality + feedback from coherence/observation

🚀 The Goal

The goal is to formalize these equations, calibrate β to match cosmic acceleration, and validate that the Substrate Field Equation reproduces GR, QM, and cosmological data. Once complete, RST becomes a predictive engine — not just philosophy, but a working framework to simulate the universe, explain anomalies, and unify physics.
