DUE PROCESS DENIED.. ALEX PRETTI AND RENEE NICOLE GOOD.
DHS, Due Process, and the Alex Pretti Case
1️⃣ DHS was created to improve inter‑agency information sharing — so why is it withholding information now?
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) was created to improve transparency and coordination between federal, state, and local agencies. Yet in this case, it is withholding information from the very agencies that need it to investigate two fatal ICE-related shootings.
📣 Something isn’t adding up, and people deserve answers.
Wasn’t DHS created after 9/11 to make sure federal agencies shared information with state and local authorities? So why is that same DHS now refusing to share key details with Minnesota officials about two ICE‑related shooting deaths? The entire point of DHS was to prevent agencies from operating in silos. Yet here we are — local investigators are being kept in the dark.
2️⃣ “Innocent until proven guilty” — and the federal government publicly declared Alex and Renee guiltly within hours
Whatever happened to “innocent until proven guilty”? Within hours of the shooting — long before any investigation could have even started — federal officials publicly labeled Alex Pretti a “domestic terrorist.” No evidence presented. No due process. No completed inquiry. Just a narrative pushed immediately, while bystander videos tell a very different story.
You can’t claim to stand for law and order while skipping the most basic principle of justice: due process.
Within hours of the shootings, Alex Pretti and Renee Nicole Good were effectively treated as guilty without a trial. People aren’t asking for anything radical — just transparency, accountability, and the truth.
No publicly available reporting indicates that Alex Pretti’s own cell‑phone footage has been released.
